Strong Nations Bundles
French resources are prioritized in this bundle, but English resources without a French translation available are also included.
This bundle brings together Indigenous resources thoughtfully curated for K and K/1 classrooms, centred around the theme of place. It explores connections to the environment, community, and reciprocity through works by Indigenous authors and artists.
While the focus prioritizes resources from Nations in the Richmond area (such as works from Musqueam and Kwantlen authors/artists), it also includes materials from other Nations that align with the theme of place and/or that have useful teachings about topics like land connection and fostering community. Some resources included are designed specifically for emerging readers in the target age group to practise reading skills independently, but most titles are read-alouds.
