Robert Madahbee
Robert Madahbee lives in the Ojibwe community of Aundeck Omni Kaning on Manitoulin Island. Robert is a well-known artist and carver. Robert often draws in pencil and ink.
Robert is an avid fisherman and enjoys spending time in the woods, and on or near the water. "Sitting quietly and listening to nature is a great way to learn. Nature can teach you just about all you need to know if you are prepared to take the time to learn how to listen."
Robert is accomplished at bird calls and has a wide variety of calls he learned from listening. "Some of the best conversations I have had are with the creatures great and small that live all around me."
