Van Binfa
Van Binfa is a trans, nonbinary, Latinx watercolor illustrator and writer. They have crafted illustrations with the hope of being an artist since they were very small. These days, Van specializes in cartoons, zines, and webcomics, and their work ranges from the humorous to the profound. Van is often inspired by self-reflection and a commitment to personal growth. They are intimately familiar with chronic/rare illnesses, advocacy, and dismantling systems of oppression. Van lives in the Chicago area, and when they're not drawing, they enjoy baking cookies and learning about astronomy. Van's favorite color is glitter.
