Lisa-Maude Aubin-Berube

Lisa-Maude Aubin-Berube is Wolastoqewi from Wahsipekuk and Quebecoise. Her academics and personal achievements are linked to her need to reappropriate her culture and language. The artist just graduated from NBCCD in Wabanaki visual arts, where she chose to specialize in wampum making. She currently teaches and resides in Ekpahak (Fredericton), New Brunswick, keeping in mind the goal to share and preserve the language and culture.
