Jeff Ball
Jeff Ball calls the Washington DC area his home. Although he is not Native American himself, having descended from Scotch-Irish ancestors, he has been playing the Native American flute for over fifteen years and is mostly self-taught. Starting out as a soloist, through writing and recording collaborations on previous albums, he is now part of a band whose style brings a more contemporary sound to this ancient instrument. Jeff has been personally inspired by masters like R. Carlos Nakai and Douglas Spotted Eagle. His albums have received numerous nominations for the Native American Music Awards.
