Marion Lewis

Marion Lewis was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She has lived in communities throughout the Arctic including Qikitarjuaq, Watson Lake, Yukon, and Inuvik. Marion was introduced to the imaginative and beautiful world of Inuit traditional stories while studying at the Nunavut Teacher Education Program in Iqaluit. That introduction sparked Marion’s love for storytelling and inspired the emerging Inuit writer to write Kaugjagjuk, her first book.
