Kira Vermond

Kira Vermond is an award-winning writer with over 2,000 articles to her name. She is also the author of a number of nonfiction books for kids, including Why We Live Where We Live, which won the 2015 Norma Fleck Award, Half-Truths and Brazen Lies, and Trending, which won the 2021 Yellow Cedar Award and was a Kirkus Reviews Best Book. She lives in Guelph, Ontario, with her family.
