Hope Nicholson
Hope Nicholson is the owner of Winnipeg-based publisher Bedside Press, which focuses on publishing new anthologies, and reprints of forgotten works. She's a historian of comics, particularly those that focus on Canadian comic history, Indigenous representation, women's role in the comics industry. Oh, she also was a producer on a comic book documentary (Lost Heroes) and wrote a book on female characters in comics (The Spectacular Sisterhood of Superwomen). She put together the Angel Catbird graphic novel series for Dark Horse Comics, created by Margaret Atwood, Johnnie Christmas, and Tamra Bonvillain.
