Lois Locke-Suluk
Lois is from Arviat, the southernmost community in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut, along the Hudson Bay coast. Lois is following the footprints of her grandparents by learning, preserving and performing Inuit traditional songs, and teaching about the Inuit life and culture. Lois has performed for Queen Elizabeth at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations, at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, and other festivities all over the world.

and core of the Pacific Northwest Coast peoples—the Cedar Tree, known as the Tree of Life. We are
here to support the building of strong nations and help share Indigenous voices.
