Richard J. Hebda

Richard Hebda worked for the Royal BC Museum for 37 years where he was the Curator of Botany and Earth History. He has taught at the University of Victoria since 1984 and has his PhD in botany from the University of British Columbia. He written, co-authored, and co-edited many scientific papers, books, and major reports. He has been awarded the Queen’s Jubilee medal for his work in palaeontology and the national Bruce Naylor award for natural history curatorship.
