Moved In!

We are all moved in and set up in our new location at 1970 Island Diesel Way, which is right off of Bowen Road.

We've had lots of folks coming in to check out all the books and giftware that we offer. Lots of comments that people haven't seen the products that we carry and they are excited about our continued expansion for our own exclusive future products. Oh, we are busy!!!!

During my 25 years in education I accumulated a lot of "stuff". Stay tuned as I will let you know when I begin my gift-away here at the shop for you to come in and pick through it all...

Our new facility lends itself well to providing evening workshops. We have such a diverse group of people connected to us who all have some amazing knowledge to share. Stay tuned for evening workshop announcements.

We will also be providing workshops for Pro. D days, or non Pro. D days, for whole schools or teams to come in and connect with all the new Indigenous content. My job is to support making connections, or deeper connections, to our content in a variety of ways. Let me know if you are interested in bringing a team in to work with us and we will do our best to meet your request. By the way, this also applies to all the folks from the mainland too. As an islander, we often have to leave to come over to the mainland for our professional development. The ferry ride over served as a meeting time to prepare, plan or collaborate towards our goal. The ferry ride back was often used to design the goal. It's possible for you and your team to walk on the ferry and when you arrive to then catch a cab to our facility which is only 5 minutes away. We can organize lunches etc. Something to think about as we could never bring over our entire collection to the mainland.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer and spending time relaxing while reading a great book!
