Pamela Aleekuk

Pam Aleekuk grew up on the prairies and is of Métis descent. She has worked for many years in the aboriginal community both in Canada's North as well as with the First Nations of Alberta. Pamela has been nominated twice for the Governor General's Award for Excellence in teaching Canadian History. Currently Pamela is an educator working in Edmonton and enjoys teaching English, and writing in her spare time.
